Bringing a beauty brand into Dubai?

Most brands arrive here knowing retail and knowing nothing about the clinic and salon channel, which is where a lot of this market actually happens. We spend our days mapping that channel. Tell us what you are bringing, and we will tell you plainly whether we are any use to you.

What we can tell you today

  • Who is actually out there. Which clinics and salons exist in which area, what they treat, how large they are by review volume, and which of them publish prices.
  • What this market charges. We collect prices that clinics publish themselves and show the observed ranges, so you can see where a product or device would sit.
  • An honest read on fit. If your category is crowded here, or if what you need is an importer rather than us, we will say so in the first reply.

What we are not

We are not a distributor and we hold no stock. We do not handle import, customs or product registration, and we have no exclusive agreement with any clinic. We are early, and the number of introductions we have made so far is small. If someone tells you they can place your brand in hundreds of clinics, ask them how. We would rather start a real conversation than sell you a plan we cannot run.

What you get back, free

  1. A read on your part of the market. How many clinics and salons in Dubai treat what you sell, which areas they cluster in, how many are large enough to have a buyer, and what the published prices are around your product. We build it from our own listings, so it is specific rather than a guess.
  2. A candidate list. The places that fit your category and size, with the contact details they publish themselves. Yours to use, with or without us.
  3. Our honest read on fit. If your category is crowded here, if the gap is regulatory rather than commercial, or if what you need is an importer and not us, that is what the reply will say.

No charge and no obligation. We send it whether or not anything else follows.

Four ways in

Brands arrive here in different shapes, and the shape decides who files the paperwork and who you are actually selling to. Find yours before anything else.

Export through a UAE distributor

The distributor registers and imports

Fastest way in and the usual one. You keep the brand, they hold the licence, the stock and a share of the margin. Clinics buy from them, not from you.

We can shortlist clinics that fit, and tell you which distributors already serve them.

Your own UAE entity

You register in your own name

More control and more cost. A free zone company cannot sell into the mainland on its own, so most brands that go this way still need a mainland partner or a mainland licence.

Same clinic work, plus a read on whether your volume justifies the overhead.

OEM for a local brand

The local brand owner registers

You manufacture, somebody here owns the label. You are selling capacity rather than a brand, so the buyer is a brand owner or a group, not a clinic.

We can tell you which groups are large enough to carry their own label.

ODM or private label for a clinic group

The clinic group registers

A clinic chain puts its own name on your formulation. The sale is to one buyer and the volume is steady, but you need a chain with enough branches to make it worth it.

This is where our data is sharpest: who runs how many branches, and how big each one is.

Where you are in the process

Getting a beauty product into a Dubai clinic runs through six steps. We are useful at two of them and honest about the rest, because a brand that has not cleared the middle cannot sell here yet, whoever introduces it.

  1. 1

Deciding whether Dubai is worth itwe help here

How many clinics treat what you sell, where they are, what this market charges. This is the part we can answer the same week.

  2. 2

A UAE importer, distributor or your own entity

Registration can only be filed by a UAE company whose trade licence covers the product, so this step comes before anything can be sold. We can point you at people who do it.

  3. 3

    Conformity and product registration

Ingredient lists, free sale certificate, certificate of analysis, and registration through the relevant authority. Specialist work, and not ours.

  4. 4

    Shipping, customs and labelling

An importer code, clearance against the registration, and label requirements for this market.

  5. 5

Talking to clinics and salonswe help here

Which places fit your product and size, who to approach first, and what they are already paying for comparable treatments. This is the other part we are useful for.

  6. 6

    Already stocked, want more clinics

Then it is a question of which rooms you are not in yet. Tell us what is working and we can read the gap.

Requirements differ by product type and they change, so treat this as the shape of the journey rather than advice. Confirm the current rules with the relevant authority or a registration specialist before you commit to a plan.

Tell us about your brand

Only the first three are required. The rest make our reply more useful, and a person reads every one of them.

What would help most

We use what you send here only to answer you. We do not pass it to clinics without asking you first, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to hello@onepassbeauty.com.
